Ableauctions to Host Pacific Galleries Great Falls Western Auction

Published March 6th, 2007

Ableauctions.com (AMEX:AAC) announced today that it will host Pacific Galleries’ “Great Falls Western” auction on March 15, 2007, on eBay Live Auctions through its subsidiary iCollector.com.

This event will showcase Edward Curtis Orotone’s “Three Chiefs.” Edward Curtis is considered to be one of the finest photographers of the early 20th century. For almost 30 years, beginning in 1900, Curtis traveled the West with his camera, intent on documenting the vanishing traditions and lives of various Native American tribes. Curtis was able to capture images that provide a rare glimpse into the life of the American Indian.

Other artists featured at this event include Charles M. Russell, Robert Daughters, E.S. Paxson, Eustace Ziegler, D. Stirling, and C. Berninghaus.

Pacific Galleries has been in business for 35 years, and has three auction houses, located in Seattle, WA, Centralia, WA, and Great Falls, MT. Each location has an antique mall, with the Centralia location providing three floors of a variety of depression glass, books, and Native American oil paintings. Pacific Galleries has brought their store front to a global audience through their online store pacgal.com, which offers fine art, decorative arts, jewelry, watches, furniture and rugs.
