Thruway Authority Auction Scheduled For May 2

The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that the first public auction of the year will be held on Wednesday, May 2 at 9 a.m., just north of Thruway Interchange 22, on Route 144 in Selkirk.

The Authority would like to remind the public that auction information is available by logging onto the Thruway Authority’s Website at . Simply click on the “Business” button, then select “Public Auction Sale” to view auction dates, item descriptions and directions to the auction site.

Auction items will include a variety of used cars and trucks, automotive and maintenance equipment and other miscellaneous items. All items will be sold with attachments, parts, accessories or quantities as shown at time of sale.

Items may be inspected the day prior to the sale, on Tuesday, May 1, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. On the day of the sale, May 2, inspection of items for sale will be held from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. The sale will be held primarily indoors and conducted regardless of weather conditions.

Free copies of the notice of sale, with a list of items to be auctioned, may also be obtained at the Thruway’s Authority’s Administrative Headquarters, 200 Southern Blvd., in Albany, or from Division Offices located at 4 Executive Boulevard, in Suffern; 290 Elwood Davis Road- Suite 250, Liverpool; and 455 Cayuga Road- Suite 800, in Cheektowaga.
