J.P. King to Auction Luxury Homes and Sites in Jacksonville

. May 2, 2007

Eleven high-end homes, 25 home sites and 32 townhome sites will be sold at auction Saturday, May 19, with J.P. King Auction Company managing the sale.
“The current oversupply of homes is especially hard on smaller builders with high-end products. The auction will give individual buyers an opportunity to buy at a fair market value while helping reduce inventories,” said Craig King, president of J.P. King. “These are gorgeous luxury homes and sites in some of the area’s finest communities.”
Properties to be sold include:
Five homes in the town center of one of the north Florida’s largest master-planned communities. Three of the homes are four-bedroom models, and two have three bedrooms. Also selling will be 13 home sites in and 32 townhome sites in the same area.
Three four-bedroom, four-bath homes in a newly opened golf course neighborhood inside the same master-planned community. All three homes have high-end features such as high ceilings and granite countertops.
Three homes and 12 home sites in a luxury golf course community on the Intracoastal Waterway in St. Augustine. One home is a five-bedroom model with a huge great room, high-end kitchen and 32-foot lanai. The other two are four bedrooms and five baths each.
King said the company is promoting the auction throughout the United States as well as in metro Jacksonville. “One of the advantages of the auction is that you can cast a wider net and hopefully attract the attention of people who might never hear about these properties otherwise,” he said.
