Faywood Hot Springs Resort to be Sold at Auction

Higgenbotham Auctioneers International (HAI) announced today that Faywood Hot Springs Resort, and its accompanying 1280± acres will be offered at auction on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. The auction will be held onsite at Faywood Hot Springs as well as broadcast live on the internet with real-time international online bidding available.

Located in southwestern New Mexico, midway between Silver City and Deming at 165 Hwy 61, Faywood NM 88034 lies historic mineral water hot springs at Faywood. The resort, which can trace its commercial use back to the mid 1800’s, is a commercial success and is being offered in parcels by Wanda Fuselier. She and her late husband, Elon Yurwit, purchased the property in 1993.

The hot springs resort parcel, which encompasses 156± acres, is completely modernized and its amenities include:

Fifteen flow-through, temperature regulated geothermal mineral water pools.
Certified mineral drinking water source (NM Dept. of Health January, 2004).
