AuctionZip.com, the largest live auction website in the United States has announced the launch of AuctionZip Canada today. The new area of the website will be devoted to Canadian Auctions and Canadian Auctioneers, and will allow buyers to search both Canadian and US Auctions.

According to AuctionZip.com co-founder Steve Johnson, AuctionZip Canada will work exactly like AuctionZip US. Canadian auctioneers will now be able to come to the site and post their live auction listings free of charge. In addition, they will be able to upload unlimited photos and attach documents to each listing at no cost. All auctions posted will be searchable by Canadian Postal code or US Zip Code and radius.

AuctionZip.com is a US based website founded by 2 auction buyers and launched in January of 2004. The website has doubled in size each of it’s first 3 years, and is now the largest and most trafficked live auction website in the US. In August the website received over 17.5 million page views from over 440,000 unique visitors. AuctionZip users may search for auctions by area, auctioneer, and category.
