Worldlink to Sell Its Pioneering Communications Technology on October 25, 2007 at the Ocean Tomo Live Intellectual Property Auction in Chicago

Ocean Tomo Auctions, LLC today announced that the UK based company, Worldlink, will offer for sale its pioneering communications portfolio, consisting of U.S. Patent 7,194,468 and a pending continuation application, GB2358768 and EP1297460. These patent assets relate to efficiently receiving changing information over a mobile communication network and will be offered as Lot 40 at the Ocean Tomo Fall 2007 Live IP Auction on October 25th at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.

The patented claims pertain to a subscriber profile automatically receiving changed data after an initial download of a set of information over a mobile communications network without the need for manual refreshing. The patented process has critical application to the real-time distribution of data to wireless devices within financial services, and potentially in many other industries.

“Worldlink considers its patented process to be intrinsic to the majority of ‘stock price ticker’ type of applications available over mobile networks. Moving forward, we anticipate that a significant number of companies offering these types of applications will look to license this patent family,” stated Neil Riches, Managing Director and Founder of Worldlink. “Hundreds of currently available products and services, with potentially millions of users, could benefit from access to this patented technology and claim coverage. We believe this figure will expand significantly in the near future as the wireless market is growing exponentially.”

Dean Becker, Vice Chairman of Ocean Tomo, said, “I am extremely excited to have true groundbreaking patents in this sector available at our Fall Auction. My team and I have been working closely with Worldlink to ensure the broadest marketing of this opportunity to potential purchasers.”

The key facets of the patented process are:

Receiving changing data from a database or databases of changing information
Receiving the data over mobile communications networks
Receiving only data specific to a subscribers requirements
Storing and notifying of the received information
Efficiency is provided to save on bandwidth, device battery life, communications infrastructure and end user bandwidth cost.
