Auctions International Inc. Signs First American Car Dealer Through AutoBidLive Subsidiary

. October 6, 2007

Auctions International Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AUCI), a technology company that owns and markets proprietary software to enable real time online auctions of virtually any product or commodity for use by the wholesale market, announced that it has signed its first American car dealership through its subsidiary AutoBidLive.
The dealership is Midgette Auto Sales out of Harbinger, North Carolina. General Sales Manager of Midgette, Craig Hjalmarson, said, “Being busy on the showroom floor or in operational meetings all day leaves little time for me to travel to auctions to find the best deals on pre-owned vehicles. AutoBidLive.com provides an online community that creates new efficiencies in the North American wholesale auction market. The strong Canadian dollar represents a real niche market for U.S. car dealerships. We anticipate accelerating our use of AutoBidLive to capitalize on this opportunity.”
President of Auctions International Inc., Douglas Mann, said, “Our first U.S. dealership Midgette Auto Sales has since been joined by many other dealerships in the U.S. and Canada. We continue to sign on new members at a pace that exceeds initial expectations and are on track to have over 100 dealers by the end of the year.”
As AutoBidLive’s membership grows, the Company is developing a network of strategic partners that will provide synergistic value-added services to dealerships. In addition to online automobile auctions to the wholesale market, the Company has identified multiple commodity verticals such as industrial products, airplanes, artwork, stamps, and boats, which could benefit from its leading-edge online auction technology platform.
