Frost Construction Chooses Worlds Largest Industrial Auctioneer to Conduct Retirement Dispersal in Lovell, Wyoming

. October 31, 2007

AuctionPublicity.com – On Friday, November 16, 2007, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers – the world’s largest industrial auction company – will conduct a retirement dispersal auction for Frost Construction in Lovell, Wyoming. Close to 180 items will be sold in the unreserved public auction, which features asphalt and crushing equipment as well as trucks and construction equipment. Like every Ritchie Bros. auction, the sale will be completely unreserved – meaning there are no minimum bids or reserve prices. Every item will be sold to the highest bidder on auction day, regardless of price. Ritchie Bros. has conducted a number of unreserved auctions in Wyoming, most recently in 2004.

“We conduct regular auctions at our 19 auction sites in the United States, including our new permanent auction site in Denver, Colorado, but sometimes our customers are better served by an offsite auction,” said Steve Merich, Ritchie Bros. Regional Manager. “Frost Construction has been operating locally since the 1940s and it’s time for the owners to retire. Their entire inventory of good quality, well-maintained used equipment will be sold to the highest bidders on auction day – right on their own property.”

Among the equipment being sold in the unreserved auction: a CMI UVM1700SP asphalt plant, a 2005 JCI Kodiak 400 portable cone crusher, a 2003 Kolberg 3336X150 conveyer, a 2003 Cat 980G Series II wheel loader, a Cat 14G motor grader and almost a dozen truck tractors. Interested bidders can visit the Lovell auction site (2125 Highway 310, Lovell, Wyoming) to inspect and test the equipment prior to the auction. For more information telephone: 970-535-6700.

“We have been buying and selling equipment with Ritchie Bros. for many years,” said David Frost, president of Frost Construction. “We chose them for this dispersal because we feel they’re the best, as far as auction companies go. Their reputation is very good because they sell unreserved, and there are no bid-ins or buy-backs. The equipment in this auction is in good condition and is ready to go to work.”

The unreserved public auction starts at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2007. Registration is free. Interested buyers who are unable to attend the auction in person can register to bid over the internet, live and in real time, using the Company’s online bidding service, rbauctionBid-Live. More information about the auction, including photos of equipment being sold, is available at www.rbauction.com.
