Charity Auction on eBay for Limited Edition Celebrity Designed and Signed MTV Nike Dunks

. February 27, 2008

New York, NY – Bidding has now started on eBay for celebrity signed Nike running shoes that were created exclusively for MTV’s charity Staying Alive Foundation. Also for auction are celebrity designed Nike dunks that are only available through the auction.

MTV teamed up with NIKEiD to raise money for The Staying Alive Foundation, MTV’s international HIV and AIDS awareness charity, and have done so in a very unique way…
Artists at the 2007 MTV European Music Awards in Munich were invited to pay a visit to the NIKEiD suite and design an original and exclusive pair of Dunks! Artists that took part get a pair to keep – and one extra pair is up for auction – meaning only two pairs in the world exist.

The NIKEiD suite attracted top talent, including: Kelly Rowland, Nicole Scherzinger, Shaggy and Craig David.

NIKE have also produced 100 limited edition pairs of Staying Alive branded Dunks. Artists were invited to sign these kicks, along with a short message. Some of the signed running shoes include EMA host – Snoop, Will.I.Am and Wyclef, to name three.

Visit www.ebay.com/mtv_nike for more information or to place a bid.
