Spring Auction For Victorian Casino Will Present A Host Of Treasures

Victorian Casino Antiques Spring Auction will be held on March 8 and 9 will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Alexis Park Resort. In addition to a strong offering of the usual categories for which these events have become famous, there will be offered a collection of over 30 beautiful rare coffee grinders – most of which have been professionally restored.

According to Peter Sidlow, President of Victorian Casino Antiques, the March sale has been slightly expanded so as to offer additional quality merchandise to both the live audience and Internet.

As usual, there will be something for everyone in the coin-op gambling, advertising, arcade, cash registers, scales, toys, fixtures and petrolania. Some of the featured items are: 1910 – 25 cent Mills Roulette machine; early cast-iron Watling color match trade stimulator; restored coffee grinders; restored early gas pumps; rare slot machines; numerous pinball and arcade games; early tin and cardboard advertising items; and great toys.

The auction will also feature some items from the world famous Muse’ Mechanique on Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, California, and a collection of vintage arcade games.? For the remainder of 2008, Victorian Casino Antiques will hold 2 additional auctions: on August 30, in connection with the Musical Box Society International Convention; (This will be a special auction focusing on musical items), and the fall sale, which will follow on September 20 and 21.
