A First Edition of Mozart’s Requiem, with Beecham’s conducting markings throughout

First Edition (one of only 200 copies) of Holst’s ‘The Planets’

An original painting of Beecham conducting Delius’ ‘Koanga’ by the celebrated artist Francis Marshall

Large selection of books from Beecham’s library, mostly author signed

A very large archive of photographs including gelatine prints by Ruth Orkin, Patrick Ward, Irving Chilcott and many other famous photographers

The original licence for the World Premier of Delius ‘Irmelin’

Personal items including his famous silk scarf and dressing gown

His personal chair used during his rehearsals

Trophies and awards presented to him throughout his career

The original certificate signed by the Queen making Beecham a Companion of Honour and many other items
