Events Surrounding the Auction

Michel Niellon Bâtard-Montrachet Wine Dinner On Friday, June 27th Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. will host a sublime Michel Niellon Bâtard-Montrachet wine dinner at Chicago’s North Pond restaurant located at 2610 N. Canon Drive.

The Grand Cru Bâtard-Montrachets of MichelNeillon are legendary, and for good reason.Produced from a miniscule .24-acre plot with vines over 80 years old, the wines are rich, decadent and always in short supply. In praising the wines, Robert Parker once commented “I wish all Montrachets would taste this good!”

Seven vintages of Bâtard-Montrachet will be paired with the seasonally-inspired cuisine of 2008 James Beard-nominated Chef Bruce Sherman. Located at the edge of a pastoral pond on the grounds of Lincoln Park and with a commanding view of Chicago’s famous skyline, the setting is one of the most uniquely beautiful in the city, especially on a summer evening. The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the cost to attend is $1,000 (all inclusive). Seating is limited.
