BLENHEIM, Ontario – Preeminent international auction house, RM Auctions, is delighted to announce the return of former partner Dan Warrener to their vintage car specialist team.
A lifelong enthusiast and passionate car collector, Warrener first joined the RM team in 1987, becoming a partner in 1988 along with Mike Fairbairn and remaining with the company on a full time basis up until 2001. During this time, Warrener, played an integral role in helping establish the business and build the RM brand.
After successfully shepherding RM through a period of rapid growth and expansion in the 1990s, Dan took a temporary hiatus from the industry to seek out new challenges in another exciting field – that of environmentally “green” products, and in 2002, founded Enviroshake, a company dedicated to producing environmentally friendly roofing materials. Now run by Warrener’s son, Enviroshake has become an industry leader and enjoyed tremendous success since its inception – a reflection of Warrener’s professionalism and astute business sense.
Warrener was never completely removed from the industry, remaining a strong advocate for RM and participating in RM’s catalog auction events overseas and the U.S. Earlier this year, he returned to the RM head office to concentrate on one of his first loves – that of cars.
