Stopol Auctions to Host Second Auction at Little Tikes Hudson, Ohio

. September 30, 2008

SOLON, Ohio – Stopol Auctions, L.L.C. – the leader in hosting and managing plastics industry auctions — will host and web cast an auction October 8, 2008, to sell plastics manufacturing equipment from continuing operations at Little Tikes Co.’s Hudson, Ohio, plant.

Stopol Auctions will conduct a live auction at 10:05 a.m. (EDT) October 8 at Little Tikes’ Hudson facility and air the event on www.stopol.com’s webcast portal so that bidders from all over the world can participate in the event using their PCs. Stopol Auctions will hold a preview at the plant October 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Interested bidders also may contact Stopol Auctions to arrange for a private inspection.

The Little Tikes auction will feature a number of rotational molding machines and an array of production toolroom equipment and accessories. For a comprehensive listing of all available items, directions to the auction or more information on auction rules and terms of sale, please visit www.stopol.com.

“Nearly two years ago, Stopol hosted the first Little Tikes auction, which was a huge success for both Little Tikes and the injection molders and blow molders casting the winning bids,” said Stopol CEO Neil Kruschke Jr. “We are confident the October 8 auction will prove to be just as successful to Little Tikes and equally beneficial to the rotational molders bidding on the equipment.”

Little Tikes, which employs more than 875 people at the facility, has eliminated some of rotational molding operations at its plant to combat skyrocketing material and energy prices. The company uses the machinery to produce hollow toys and parts for its products.
