Bid for a Bag and Help Children with Diabetes!
The Hong Kong Juvenile Diabetes Association is holding a designer handbag auction on 5 November at FINDS in Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong – a great girls night out – all to raise funds for kids living with this chronic health condition.
More than 100 new and pre-owned designer handbags have been donated by celebrities and socialites for this fun event.
“We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of Hong Kong women and also the makers of such wonderful handbags who have donated brand new editions,” said Mara Hotung, Director of
Fundraising for the HKJDA. “This has been the perfect way to recycle while helping children at the same time.”
Bids start as low as HK$50, and bags to bid for include Gucci, Tod’s, Ferragamo, Anya Hindmarch, YSL … and many more!
Professional auctioneer Brian Hodgson from Hong Kong Auctions said, “This is going to be such a fun auction. I am expecting frantic bidding from excited ladies eager to get a great deal and help a charity at the same time.”
There is a $100 entrance fee (which includes a drink and lucky draw ticket to win a brand new handbag!)
