Beatles U.S. Tour Film From 1964 for Auction

Another major Beatles collectable will be offered for auction by Cameo Auctioneers on the 4th November 2008 at 10.30am

Lot 330 is an 8mm silent colour film reel, approx. 2 minutes long from September 17th 1964, un-scheduled gig in Kansas City on the Beatles first tour of the USA.

The film was discovered in August of this year whilst clearing out an estate, to read the full account of this find click here, a snippet is shown below;

“We cleared out my parent’s estate 2 months ago. And there I discovered it…at the bottom of the old drawer, still lying in its original photo- lab box with “Beatles 1964” on the back of the box where I’d feverishly scrawled it in blue ballpoint pen…the one and only motion picture, in existence, of the one and only concert the Beatles would ever perform in Kansas City.”
