Ritchie Bros to hold Grand Opening auction at Medford

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers , the world’s largest industrial auctioneer, will celebrate the Grand Opening of its new permanent auction site in Medford just outside Minneapolis with an unreserved industrial and agricultural auction on March 19, 2009 starting at approximately 8:00 a.m. The unreserved auction is expected to draw both local and international bidders to bid on hundreds of different equipment items. At 10:30 a.m. on auction day, Ritchie Bros. will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Owatonna Mayor Thomas Kuntz and Medford Mayor Danny Thomas. The new Minneapolis 120-acre auction site (70 developed acres) is one of 20 auction sites Ritchie Bros. currently operates in the United States.
