Colorado Mountain Home Sites to Sell at Public Auction

. July 1, 2009

Rocky Mountain Estate Brokers Realty LLC (www.whitleyauction.com) announces the public auction of 25 mountain home sites at Little River Ranch near Salida, on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 1:10 pm MDT, according to auctioneer David P. Whitley.

“Lots in this community have sold for up to $212,000,” said Whitley. “Five of these beautiful lots will sell to the highest bidder with no reserve. The others will be sold subject to the owner’s confirmation of the high bid.”

“They are serious about getting these home sites sold,” said Whitley. “Auction attendees will have the opportunity to purchase sites in Little River Ranch at superior price points.”

“A live public Auction allows those interested in a property to determine its true value,” he added. “What better way is there to sell property in today’s current market?”

Homes sites in this auction range from .25 to 1.5 acres with all city services and maintenance. Whitley explained that the Town of Poncha Springs annexed Little River Ranch and each home site has full city utilities. The streets and roads are paved or will be as each phase is sold. The Town of Poncha Springs even plows when it snows.

“Each owner has complete access to two-thirds mile of the Little Arkansas River. If you ever wanted to walk out your back door and fly fish this is the place for you,” Whitley pointed out. “This is Colorado living at its finest. With the manageable lot sizes and infrastructure, owners spend their time enjoying the Salida area and not worrying about septic systems, wells and propane tanks.”

The properties may be previewed during a scheduled tour on Sunday, July 5, from 1pm to 3pm and on auction day from 9am to 11am.

The auction is open to the public. Bidders must register prior to bidding. Bidders who cannot attend the live auction may bid online. For more information, visit www.whitleyauction.com, or call Broker Bob Johnson or Auctioneer David Whitley toll free at 866-888-4875.
