Riley Performance Motorcars First Shelby GT500SE Super Snake Sells for $330,000 at the Barrett-Jackson, Las Vegas Auction

. October 20, 2009

Riley Performance Motorcars is proud to announce that the first Shelby GT500SE built by the team was showcased and sold at the Barrett Jackson, Las Vegas Auction for $330,000.00. The superior build quality and incredible paint job propelled this amazing Shelby to this impressive auction price. Carroll Shelby viewed the car and signed the hood when the GT500SE made its debut at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach. When the auction was complete, the GT500SE took its place as the third highest sale of the auction! The Shelby appears in the top sales list at www.barrett-jackson.com and is lot number 701.

The Shelby is powered by a 780 horsepower all aluminum Supercharged Shelby 427 FE engine with a Tremec TKO 5 speed. It is also equipped with front and rear coil over suspension to radically improve handling and performance. Riley Performance Motorcars offers this extreme build as well as “streetable” versions that still pack the power and performance required by drivers of such machines.

Riley Performance Motorcars is in the process of completing additional Shelbys and extreme Mustangs. They are currently taking orders for similar builds as well as building other classic and extreme muscle cars for clients worldwide. The quality of the work has consistently been well received and the positive response of the attendees, staff and bidders at the event was greatly appreciated. The team is dedicated to providing the highest quality work possible for its clients and stands ready to complete custom work and restorations on serious machines of every make and model.

We are proud of this great achievement and will continue to deliver incredible cars to our clients worldwide. Some of our current and past projects can be viewed at www.rileyrpm.com. Contact us by email at jriley@rileyrpm.com or by phone at 214-395-4890 to discuss the perfect build for you!
