Archives International to Auction Banknotes, Stocks, Bonds and Security Printing Ephemera

Archives International Auctions and Dr.Robert Schwartz announce the auction of rare and historic worldwide banknotes, security printing ephemera, stocks and bonds from the American Bank Note Company archives to take place in Englewood, New Jersey April 15th and 16th, 2010.

Dr.Robert Schwartz, President of Archives International Auctions, originated the well received American Bank Note Company Archives Auction series and was the cataloger of the previous four auctions. “I am proud of this auction series and I look forward to many more interesting and historic auctions over the years of American Bank Note and related Security Printers Archival material. It Is evident that there is a wide spread interest for rare and esoteric material that collectors, even during the mid 1980’s, never had an opportunity to collect or even realize was available. We anticipate two to four auctions per year of World Wide Banknotes, stocks & bonds as well as specialized auctions of wide ranging interests.”

There are over 1,000 lots of U.S. and Worldwide proof, specimen and issued banknotes and related security printing production material in this auction including many rarities seen for the first time.
