. March 31, 2010

Feizhu Farms, LLC has partnered with United Country – Lippard Auctioneers, Inc., to sell a 1,280-acre Springfield, Colo., ranch, formerly one of the largest free-range hog producers in the U.S., during an absolute auction event on Tuesday, April 6.

In addition to the land, which will be sold in six separate tracts or in its entirety, the auction will also offer a large inventory of personal property including hoop barns, feed mill, tractors, trailers, vehicles and industrial, shop & hog equipment. The entire auction inventory, including land, will be sold absolute to the highest bidder, regardless of price during the live auction event and the concurrent live online auction simulcast.

Conducted by Troy Lippard, auctioneer and owner of United Country – Lippard Auctioneers, the auction will take place on Tuesday, April 6 on site at the property located 12 miles north of Springfield, Colo., on Hwy 287. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. The real estate will be auctioned at 10 a.m., with personal property sold immediately following. In addition to on-site bidding, buyers also have the option of live internet bidding on the real estate at www.proxibid.com/lippard.

“An established farm of this quality is so rare in this area, not to mention the fact that the land and personal property is being offered absolute to the highest bidder,” said Lippard. “This auction may very well represent the chance of a lifetime for potential buyers to purchase prime farm land and equipment at the price of their choosing.”
