Skinner Fine Jewelry Auction Fetches $1.8M

Skinner Inc . is pleased to announce that its recent sale of Fine Jewelry grossed more than $1.8M. Diamonds continue to secure the top 5 lots.

Of impressive note, the top selling lot was an Art Deco Kashmir Sapphire and Diamond ring estimated at $25,000-35,000. It sold for more than six times the high estimate for $225,150.00 The top 4 lots are highlighted below, including sale price.

Skinner’s Fine Jewelry auctions continue to impress, its December sale grossing $2.4M, despite continued shaky economic conditions as buyers recognize the intrinsic value in these rare pieces purchased at auction.
