Equipment for offices and shops, automotive supplies and many other items are included in the sale, which will be held will be held by the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) on its grounds in Ames, Saturday, Sept. 11, beginning at 9 a.m.
Office equipment to be sold includes copiers, facsimile machines, bar code scanners, and other items. Many file cabinets, shelving units, tables, desks, computer tables, and chairs will be sold.
Included in the shop equipment are generators, grinders, mowers, toolboxes and chests, cabinets, etc.
Automotive supplies in the sale include radios, jack stands, light bars, battery chargers, and other items.
Also included in the sale are several survey stations, GPS equipment, video and still camera equipment, projectors, projection systems, and much more.
Items for sale may be inspected at the sale site from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, and from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11.
