Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. Announces $5-$7.5 Million Two-Day Auction Featuring Incredible Private Collections and a Comprehensive Library Offering Direct from Harlan Estate

Chicago, IL – Hart Davis Hart Wine Co., the internationally renowned wine auction house and retailer, will hold a massive two-day auction of Finest and Rarest wines on October 29th and 30th at award-winning restaurant Tru, located at 676 North St. Clair Street in Chicago. Encompassing over 1800 lots, the auction is estimated to bring $5-$7.5 million and is projected to be the largest sale of the year so far for Hart Davis Hart.

A library collection offered direct from Harlan Estate includes bottles or magnums from each vintage produced by the winery from 1990-2006. The highlight of the offering is an Imperial of the debut 1990 vintage, the first ever commercially released by the Estate.

This impressive auction also features a number of important private cellars from all areas of the U.S. In total, 131 lots of Château Lafite Rothschild worth an estimated $1-1.6 million will be offered, along with 74 lots of wines from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti worth an estimated $410,200- $616,600. The auction is anchored by an impressive $1.5-$2.3 million private cellar from the Eastern United States featuring 378 lots of First Growth Bordeaux.

Catalogs for the October 29th-30th auction will be available from Hart Davis Hart on September 29th, and bids for the sale will be accepted starting Thursday, September 30th.
