Richard Winterton Auctioneers are delighted to announce the sale of the contents of Amington House, Tamworth, Staffordshire next week, (26th to 28th October).

The contents of the imposing Georgian period property have been removed to The Lichfield Auction Centre in preparation for the three day auction.

The sale will include a magnificent Edwardian oak library bookcase, a fine collection of rare and antiquarian books, a Regency mahogany ‘waterfall’ bookcase in the manner of Gillows, other antique and quality furniture, jewellery, silver, pictures, ceramics, glass and collectors’ items.

The preview is Wednesday 26th October from 11am to 6.30pm (silver and jewellery to be sold at 5pm), Thursday 27th from 9am (ceramics, glass, books, pictures & collectors’ item to be sold at 10am) and Friday 28th from 9am (furniture to be sold at 10am).
