. July 30, 2016

Jacksonville, FL – Baterbys Art Gallery of Orlando will present a special live art auction event on Saturday, July 30th, featuring a collection of over 300 works of art by some of the biggest names in the world of fine art. In addition, the event will also feature signed memorabilia from the legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, who only recently lost his battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

The event will be hosted by ProSource of Jacksonville, in their showroom at 5250 Sunbeam Road in Jacksonville, and is open to the public. A preview and registration will commence at 5pm Eastern time and the live auction will begin at 6pm. RSVPs are required and attendees are encouraged to bring guests. The evening’s activities will include multiple prizes and giveaways.

The only professional boxer to win the heavyweight championship three times, Muhammad Ali was an inspiration to all, not just in his accomplishments but in his words. His feisty and quick-witted quotes still live on today. His quotes such as “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. His hands can’t hit what his eyes can’t see” are classics. He was indeed, the greatest boxer of all time.

Attendees will be able to appreciate the signed memorabilia and photographs presenting some of Ali’s greatest moments in history. Guests can also participate in live educational talks on the champion’s history and the memory he leaves with us today. They’ll also be offered the chance to bid on and buy Ali-related items and artworks at discounts of up to 70 percent off retail pricing.

The impressive lineup of artists on display will include Salvador Dali, Peter Max, Marc Chagall and Pablo Picasso. Attendees who refer a friend or family member or when they bid and buy art will be entered to win the Grand Prize, a Royal Caribbean cruise for two. Other prizes and giveaways will include a raffle for free framed artwork and giveaways to everyone in attendance.
