Hart Davis Hart to Host Fifth Annual Bordeaux-Only Auction

(Chicago, IL) – Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. will host its fifth annual Celebration of Bordeaux auction on November 9th & 10th at Spiaggia in Chicago. The auction, which will focus exclusively on the wines of Bordeaux, is comprised of 1,461 lots across 94 vintages and is estimated to garner $3.7-5.5 million. Bidders can participate by joining us in the auction room, or by utilizing our mobile app or auction website.

The November auction will include selections from some of the finest private Bordeaux collections in the world. The Fox Cellar (lots 775-1043) returns with deep offerings from the best wines from 2014 and 2015 including Châteaux Haut-Brion, Lafite Rothschild, Margaux, Mouton Rothschild, and more. Also offered are two 3-magnum lots of 2010 Château Pétrus (est. $13,000-19,000). As HDH’s largest consignor of all time, The Fox Cellar continues to provide buyers with pristine wines of exceptional provenance.

The Josue V. Harari Collection (lots 233-282) is headlined by 28 Imperials including 2005 Château Ausone (est. $6,000-9,000), 2005 Château Cheval Blanc (est. $4,000-6,000), 2005 Château Lafite-Rothschild (est. $5,500-8,500), and 2005 Château Latour (est. $6,000-9,000). Additional offerings from the consignor include 3 double-magnums of 2000 Château Mouton Rothschild (est. $17,000-26,000) and 6 bottles of 2000 Château Pétrus (est. $18,000-28,000).
