Kaminski Auctions Announces it’s Annual April Auction Featuring Selected Estate Collections

The Annual April Auction will offer an opportunity to discover estate collections from Manchester-by-the-Sea, Essex, and Sudbury, along with family heirlooms, colonial furniture, jewelry, mirrors, fine art, Persian rugs, ceramics, and much more. Some highlights from this sale include, two rare 19th Century photos of firemen in full uniform; an exceptional 19th Century golden oak tall case clock with an unusual music box movement inscribed “J.E. Caldwell & Company, Philadelphia” (Est. $12,000 – $18,000); and a colonial era Concord, Massachusetts tall clock (Est. $7,500 – $12,500) by Joseph Mulliken. According to one source Joseph Mulliken (1765-1802), of the distinguished New England family of clock makers, only made about 20 clocks in his lifetime.

Also included in the sale is a 19th Century Tibetan brass Buddhist sculpture; an 1880 rococo revival heavily carved walnut armchair with dolphin feet; a 1980 bronze sculpture of a kneeling nude woman by John Terken, a student of Paul Manship (Est. $10,000 – $15,000); and a rare early 19th Century Salem McIntyre mahogany card table with molded edges. There will be a 15% buyer’s premium when bidding with Kaminski, or 20% buyer’s premium when bidding with eBay Live.
