Nationally recognized collector William Brinley began displaying his collection at nine years of age, and has spend more than 80 years adding thousands of items, including posters, rare photographs, programs and ephemera. Panoramic photographs taken by noted New York City photographer Edward Kelty from the 1930s as well as circus set-up and train wreck photos, images of animals, sideshow freaks and trains are just a few items generating interest in this auction.

• Lot 96: Cole Bros. Poster Gala Golden Street Parade, Gala Golden Street Parade Kokomo, May 6, 28.5 x 27 mounted on Masonite with wood frame 1936.

• Lot 144: Poster Ubangi Savages Hap Hadley, with mouths and lips as large as those of full grown crocodiles 26.5 x 40 mounted on Masonite with wood frame 1930s.

• Lot 179: Kelty Photograph Combined Side Show 1937, 12 x 20 inches B&W large format photo by world renowned circus photographer Edward J. Kelty of New York City. Stamped on reverse and signed in lower left corner as well. This great photo shows 26 different “side show freaks.”
