BCA is one of BT Fleet’s preferred suppliers of remarketing services and is handling around 3,000 units this year for the fleet management company which is a wholly owned subsidiary of BT. BCA has sold vans for BT Fleet for many years, but the addition of cars in volume to the remarketing programme is a new development.

BCA will sell cars through a programme of Live Online sales at Blackbushe in the south and in Glasgow, Scotland. Commercial vehicles – including Ford Ka, Transits and Connects, and Vauxhall Corsa, Combos and Vivaros – will continue to be sold at Blackbushe, Bridgwater, Measham, Belle Vue and Glasgow.

The sale section for cars has quickly gathered a strong following with buyers, and Live Online bidders have been particularly active. Cars on offer include a wide range of makes and models and feature prestige and executive models, saloons, hatchbacks, mini-MPV’s people carriers and 4 x 4 vehicles

BCA’s Account Manager Malcolm Owen commented “We are delighted to be handling an even wider remit for BT Fleet this year with the addition of car sales in volume alongside the established light commercial sales programme.”

BCA is supporting the programme with a full multi-strategy marketing campaign that includes e-marketing, SMS messaging and electronic catalogues and online stock locator through Auction View, with many vehicles imaged and catalogued on BCA’s website. Vans are promoted through BCA’s Commercial Auction View stock locator site and BCA has also established a dedicated micro-site to promote the BT Fleet brand.

Ann Wragg, BT Fleet’s Head of Vehicle Sales commented “BCA have always proved to be a first class remarketing partner, achieving strong prices and delivering a swift and efficient service for our commercial vehicle sales. We are delighted to confirm that BCA is also handling our management and business-needs cars in volume for the first time and that early sales have been very successful.”
