Hart Davis Hart have concluded their April Auction of Finest & Rarest Wines, commanding a total of $9,806,887 and easily surpassing the pre-sale low estimate of $6,608,049. The sale achieved a strong 100% sell-through rate over 2190 lots. Burgundy continues to command impressively high hammers, while Bordeaux and Champagne also remain near historic highs. Italy made an especially strong showing in this sale, often receiving numerous competitive live bids to hammer well above the high estimates.
