Bid & Hammer invites consignments for auction Focus on Modern & Contemporary Indian Paintings

Following the recent success of its inaugural auction, Bid & Hammer has announced that it is accepting works for its next auction to be held in Bangalore on 6th June, 2008. Bid & Hammer has already sourced paintings by leading artists such as J. Swaminathan, B. Prabha, M.F. Husain, F.N. Souza and Ganesh Haloi amongst others for the auction which will focus on Modern and Contemporary Indian Paintings.
“The positive response to our first auction has spurred us on to announce the second one in the earliest possible time. This is a great opportunity for private collectors and art connoisseurs to consign the paintings they wish to sell and find buyers through an auction house,” said Maher Dadha, Chairman & Managing Director, Bid & Hammer. Entries for consignment close on March 7th and images along with details need to be emailed to [email protected].
