RM Auctions, in association with Sotheby’s, will present three star cars from their upcoming ‘Ferrari Leggenda e Passione’ event at this weekend’s ‘Techno Classica’ exhibition, to be held March 27th – 30th in Essen, Germany
ESSEN, Germany (March 26, 2008) – RM Auctions, the world’s leading auction house and restoration facility for vintage motor cars, invites automotive press, discerning collectors and enthusiasts to join them at this year’s Techno Classica exhibition, when it gets underway in Essen later this week.
Regarded as one of Europe’s most prestigious indoor automotive events, the annual four day Techno Classica exhibition will commence this Thursday 27th March and run through Sunday 30th March in Grugapark, Messe Essen, Germany. The RM exhibit will be located in Hall 6, Stand 425.
“With our recent success in Europe, RM Auctions is delighted to return to Essen this year and welcome established and new clientele,” said Max Girardo, Managing Director of RM’s European Division.
“Our exhibit will preview our first European sale of the year, our Ferrari Leggenda e Passione event in Maranello on May 18, and offer car enthusiasts an opportunity to consign for our second sale in London this Autumn,” he added.
RM’s Techno Classica exhibit will showcase three star attractions of the upcoming Maranello sale – a 1958 Ferrari 250GT LWB California Spyder (serial number 0923GT), a 1962 Ferrari 250GT Lusso “Competizione” (s/n 4213) and a 1955 Ferrari 250GT Ellena (s/n 0819GT). All of the cars attending the Maranello Auction will be certified by Ferrari Classiche.
In addition to previewing the upcoming sale, RM’s car specialists and principals will be on hand to offer collectors a resource for auction and restoration services.
