Wellington, OH – Over 350 models of trucks, automobiles and airplanes are lined up waiting to cross the auction block Saturday April 19 in Wellington, OH. Antiques and Estate Auctioneers are hosting the auction to generate operating revenue for the Medina Toy and Train Museum.
“The current economy has caused the local support to dwindle to a fraction of what’s needed to keep the doors open” said Chuck Sword, President of the Museum. The goal has always been to keep the Museum free to anyone who wishes to visit. The cost of daily operation and the lack of donations have really hit the organization hard. We don’t see any other way to make ends meet except auction some select pieces of our collection,” said Sword. “The museum is an important part of our community and local support is critical to its survival. The auction will generate much needed cash and allow us to keep the doors open and help preserve the childhood memories in all of us.”
The auction will be Saturday April 19 Beginning at 10:00AM. The location is 44777 State Route 18 E., Wellington in the gallery of Antiques and Estate Auctioneers. The online catalog and live online bidding is available at www.estateauctioneers.com. The doors open for the live auction preview Saturday at 8:30AM with the first lot selling at 10:00AM.
