Zachys Wine Auctions will hold the last New York auctions of the Spring on Wednesday, May 14th, Thursday, May 15th and Friday, May 16th. The weekend starts with An Evening Sale of Extraordinary Wines at 6:00PM on Wednesday, May 14th in the Private Room at DANIEL. This 198-lot session contains pristine high-end rarities selected especially for the “evening” format, with highlights including a full case of Bonnes Mares Comte Georges de Vogue 1971 in original carton and Zachys’ first auction offering of 2005 Domaine de la Romanee Conti!
Two full days of The Spring Auction follow on Thursday, May 15th and Friday, May 16th, both beginning at 9:30AM. This sale is comprised of over 2200 lots of fine wines for every palate, with every region and format imaginable represented. The Spring Auction ends with a special 37-bottle lot of Croizet Cognacs including two formats of the 1858, which was enjoyed by Winston Churchill and Dwight Eisenhower as they plotted the Allies’ victory in WWII.
The catalogs for these two spectacular auctions will be posted online the week of April 21 and mailed the week of April 28.
