Featured in the auction is a large group of American and European art glass from a Florida private collector who began amassing her impressive collection in the 1960s. From this collection, a number of Tiffany items are up for bid, including a green slag glass desk set and a favrille glass bowl. Other offerings include an unusual Galle clear and purple glass enamel-painted vase, a Daum Nancy cameo fall scene glass vase, a Moser green glass decanter and a Webb green glass enamel-painted vase. Also featured are pieces of peachblow, Burmese and satin glass by manufacturers Mt. Washington and Wheeling.
Also on offer are a group of Venetian objects including a wonderful pair of polychrome painted Blackamoor figures, three throne chairs with figural supports, an unsigned Venetian interior painting and a pair of Murano glass and marble lamps.
Other highlights include a Leo Laporte-Blairsy (French, 1867-1923) bronze and art glass lamp, K.P.M. plaques, Meissen figurines, several large groups of vintage Christmas ornaments, and a sterling silver tea set by former Georg Jensen apprentice, Carl Poul Petersen (b. Denmark, d. 1977).
English, American and French furniture is also up for auction as well as rugs and carpets, 18th and 19th century paintings and bronzes, various mirrors, Asian art, and many interesting group lots from local estates.
