On Monday, September 13th at 6:00 pm, Clarke Auction will again open its doors for Part Two of its Two-Day Grand Opening Celebration. After twelve successful years in a leased location in Larchmont, Clarke Auction recently purchased and completely renovated its new building, a cavernous space on the village’s historic Boston Post Road.

Chest on Chest with inlay, an arched top and great patina; a pair of magnificent two-door bookcases, probably of French origin; a 19th Cent Marquetry Inlaid Chest with beautiful inlay with side pull outs and a lift top, a 19th C. Bonnet Top Secretary with Star Inlay, a pair of Napoleon III Gilt Decorated Side Chairs, a 19th C. Regency Mahogany Side Cabinet, and a paint-decorated Italian Commode with serpentine Front.

A selection of Gold and Silver Jewelry with stones such as vintage Georg Jensen , 14k Gold Rings with Diamonds and other stones, and Navaho and Zuni silver with turquoise including a squash blossom necklace will also be available.
Handmade Estate Carpets such as a Persian figural example, a 19th C Agra carpet, an oversized Kirman, several Tribal Carpets, and others being catalogued.
A highly decorative Richard Ginori tall pedestal is another highlight of this sale.
Of special interest is an early 19th Century map of the world after the voages of Cook, nicely present and framed.
Lighting highlights are a six-foot high Duffner & Kimberly Floor Lamp & Shade from a Yonkers estate, two Steuben Aurene Table Lamps, a signed Auguste Moreau Art Nouveau Bronze Lamp, a Signed Edgar Brandt lamp base, and more being unpacked as this is published.
