Chicago, IL – Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. is pleased to announce a very special offering of wines direct from the library of Harlan Estate to be sold in a two day auction on October 29-30.
The highlight of the offering is an Imperial of the debut 1990 vintage, the first ever commercially released by the Estate. The collection features bottles or magnums from each vintage produced by the winery from 1990-2006. The 1994, 1997, 2001 and 2002 vintages were all rated a perfect 100 points by wine writer Robert Parker.
“It is a rare opportunity to buy world class wines like these directly from the cellar of the winery. This is perfect provenance,” commented CEO Paul Hart.
In conjunction with the October sale, representatives of Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. will join Director Don Weaver of Harlan Estate on a four country tour through Asia for an unprecedented series of dinners, tastings, and events. This exciting series will begin in Singapore and continue on to Vietnam and Hong Kong, culminating in Macau with a retrospective tasting and dinner at the acclaimed Robuchon à Galera at the Hotel Lisboa. This remarkable evening celebrating 25 years of Harlan Estate will feature an in-depth tasting of vintages sourced directly from the winery’s cellars, followed by a multi-course meal hand-crafted by Joël Robuchon.
