From January 1st 2012 Victoria Rey-de Rudder will take up a new brief as Bonhams representative in Switzerland, based in Geneva.
A Genevoise by birth she speaks fluent French and German as well as English. She will maintain her links with Bonhams Jewellery Department, acting as the company’s Jewellery specialist in Switzerland.
Simon Cottle, Head of European Development at Bonhams, comments: “Victoria will be an important addition to our European network. Her local and national experience in Geneva and Switzerland will be invaluable in building our business in all areas of art and antiques.”
Victoria has an MA in International Relations with special studies in International Law, Economics, Political Science and History. She also has gemstone qualifications including an Accredited Jewellery Professional Diploma (A.J.P.) and a Graduate Gemologist Diploma (G.G.) from the Gemological Institute of America in London.
She joined Bonhams in 2006 and Headed Bonhams Jewellery Department at the company’s Knightsbridge saleroom and subsequently worked as a Specialist in Bonhams Fine Jewellery Department at its headquarters in New Bond Street.
