Rago Arts and Auction Center Announces Fall 2013 Sales

Rago Unreserved: September 20 and 21, 2013, sale includes early 20th c. design, original and vintage art, traditional furnishings, tableware, Asian, collectibles, books and ephemera, ethnographic property and coins. Saturday’s sale is all 20th century: modern design, including furniture, lighting rugs, pottery, glass, sculpture, painting, prints and photography. (Previews begin September 14)

Estate auctions fill Rago with 18th, 19th and early 20th c. furnishings, decorative and fine arts including bronzes, prints, Asian art and antiques, Americana, Native American, glass and porcelain, militaria and coins. This sale features a collection of arms and armor including a Mino School Katana, carved walking sticks, a Tiffany & Co. Billiards clock and a silver statuette presented to filmmaker D.W. Griffith.
