Richard Winterton Auctioneers of Lichfield are delighted to announce the full-time appointment of jewellery expert Heather Rimmer DGA GIA Pearl.
Heather who is originally from the Isle of Man brings her experience of valuing all types of jewellery from antique to modern. She studied silversmithing and jewellery design at Birmingham BCU to degree level going on to work for a prominent Auctioneer. She has a personal interest in cameos, diamonds and pearls.
Her main role as qualified expert will be advising clients the value of their jewels for auction, insurance and probate purposes whilst overseeing the monthly jewellery auctions.
Proprietor, Richard Winterton comments on the new appointment:
‘We are excited that Heather has joined the firm and that she will be able to advise clients on their jewellery and oversee our fast growing jewellery sales which we plan to expand and refine. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in her field and she will be a great asset to us and an essential team member’.
Heather will be on-hand to assist clients with the value of their jewellery for auction purposes every Tuesday 9.30am to 4pm at the Lichfield Salerooms and most Mondays 2-4pm at The Trinity Centre, Sutton Coldfield. Home visits can also be arranged by special request.
