Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. to Hold a Massive Three-Day Internet-Only Auction

Bidding will be Available Exclusively on HDH’s Auction Website and Mobile App

(Chicago, IL)-Hart Davis Hart Wine Co., the #1 wine auction house in the U.S. and renowned wine retailer, will hold a massive internet-only auction on March 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

This exceptional sale will include over 4,100 lots of incredible diversity and provenance, estimated to realize $2-3 million. Bidders can utilize HDH’s industry leading bidding platform, available via mobile app (available on Android and iOS devices) or website (auction.hdhwine.com). Following the resounding success of HDH’s first two internet auctions, the firm is excited to announce that it will now be holding these online-only sales on a more regular basis. Nearly 1,000 bidders participated in the January internet auction, using the app or website to easily and efficiently place bids.

HDH’s March sale contains an estimated $512,820-768,880 of Bordeaux including twelve bottles of 2005 Château Pavie (lot 2813, est. $2,600-3,800), three full-case lots of 1996 Château Léoville Las Cases (lots 1379-1381, est. $2,400-3,500), and a single bottle of 1990 Château Pétrus (lot 985, est. $2,200-3,200). We’re pleased to offer an installment of the Josue V. Harari Collection (lots 1-358) which features mature vintages of classified Bordeaux, many of which are in large format bottles. Highlights include three double magnums of 2000 Château Lafite Rothschild (lot 76, est. $10,000-15,000), an imperial of 2003 Château Latour (lot 106, est. $4,000-6,000), and six bottles of 2001 Château Lafleur (lot 100, est. $1,500-2,200).

In addition to the impressive range of Bordeaux, Hart Davis Hart’s March auction boasts a deep selection of California’s greatest wines, including Colgin, Diamond Creek, Harlan, Schrader, and many more. Collectors should also take note of the 400 lots of Italian red wine (est. $179,210-269,120), 374 lots of Red Burgundy (est. $154,800-232,490), and 242 lots of Rhône (est. $94,490-142,740).

Bidding Information
Absentee and live bidding for the internet auction can be executed online at auction.hdhwine.com or via the HDH mobile app. On the day of the sale, bidders can watch a video feed of the auctioneer, place live bids, and track their wins and losses all in real-time. Bids will not be accepted by phone or fax for the internet-only sale.
