Richard Winterton to Auction 1963 Beatles Autographs

Richard Winterton are to Auction some 1963 Beatles Autographs on Wednesday 4th October, the items came in to the ITV Dickinson Real Deal dealers day at Stafford Show Ground Saturday on 16th September.

Autographs of Ringo Starr, John Lennon, George Harrison and Paul McCartney , signed in blue ink on the back of a ticket? and stuck down in an autograph album, the paper measures 9cm x 6cm approximately.

Provenance:- Vendors brother was a drummer in a band called ”The Cossacks” and they were one of the support acts for The Beatles performance at ”The Plaza”, Old Hill, near Dudley in 1963. The Cossacks were the final act on stage before The Beatles. The stage at the venue revolved and The Beatles joined The Cossacks singing Long Tall Sally out of view before the stage revolved and revealed the fab four to the audience, who then took over the end of the song. The drummer of the Cossacks sat behind Ringo Starr’s drum kit and obtained the autographs after the gig. Other autographs in the book include Carter Lewis & The Southerners, Gene Vincent & The Shouts and Manfred Mann.
