SANTA MONICA, CA – For the first time ever, an actual Formula 1 Race Car is on sale to the public today with eBay bids beginning at only $2. This along with more than 45 other one-of-a-kind and otherwise unavailable sports items will hit the eBay auction blocks over the next two weeks. All proceeds from the auction go directly to the Wings for Life Spinal Cord Research Foundation.
Items will be introduced in three stages to help spread out the big ticket items, and while these purchases will not be tax deductible, bidders have the opportunity to own Olympic Gold Medalist Shaun White’s 2008 X-Games helmet and two of skateboard star Ryan Sheckler’s signed boards, Travis Pastrana’s signed jersey and kiteboarding legend Robby Naish’s signed kite and board.
Buyers may place their bids now on www.wingsforlife.com/ebay.
