WESTCHESTER, Ill – Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc., a leader in automotive total loss and specialty salvage remarketing services in North America, today announced the opening of two new auction centers, each co-located with ADESA (a leading remarketing auction for institutional sellers and dealers) in the Sioux Falls, S.D. and Fargo, N.D markets. The auction centers, now operating under the Insurance Auto Auctions name, are a continuation of existing salvage lanes that came with the independent auctions ADESA acquired in October of 2007. In addition to all of IAA’s remarketing services, each new location has access to ADESA’s full service reconditioning facilities which will greatly enhance IAA’s ability to optimize returns. Onsite dealer financing through AFC is also available to IAA’s buyers.
“IAA is the only national salvage remarketing company with a presence in the Dakotas and we are pleased to extend our service coverage into these new states for our vehicle providers,” said Tom O’Brien, President and CEO of IAA. “We believe that introducing I-bid LIVE and our extensive domestic and international buyer base to this region will help ensure the best possible returns for our clients in these markets. In addition, the new inventory will further strengthen our ability to attract new buyers and continue generating the highest salvage returns in the industry.”
