California’s Great America Auctions First Ride on All-New Firefall to Benefit Local Santa Clara Charity

SANTA CLARA, Calif – California’s Great America is set to debut FireFall, the park’s latest thrill ride that sends riders head-over-heels through both fire and water effects. On Friday, April 25 at noon, the park will auction off seats for the first public ride. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Mission City Community Fund of Santa Clara.

Mission City Community Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of Santa Clara residents through five core areas: environment, social services, health care, education and theater/arts.

Available seats will be auctioned off for the first public ride on FireFall. Each winning bid will guaranteed one seat aboard FireFall’s inaugural ride and two general admission tickets (one for the rider and another for a guest) to be used the same day. In addition, the winning rider will also enjoy a reception and receive a commemorative first rider t-shirt.

The auction opens on Thursday, April 10 and will close at noon on Tuesday, April 22. Those interested in being the first to experience FireFall during the ride’s grand opening celebration can register and place their bids online at http://www.cagreatamerica.com.
