A magnificent natural 10.12ct fancy yellow diamond ring is expected break records when it goes under the hammer at the Bonhams & Goodman Fine Jewellery auction in Sydney on Monday 30 June. The ring has pre-auction estimates of $220,000 to $280,000 and is already attracting a huge amount of interest.
The auction, which includes over 600 lots of fine, antique and contemporary jewellery from several estates and private collections will be conducted in two sessions –
Session 1 – Affordable Jewellery at 12noon
Session 2 – Fine Jewellery at 6pm

the cushion cut diamond weighing 10.12cts is certified by the GIA as Fancy Intense Yellow, natural colour and VVS1 clarity, in an 18ct gold mount with 1.11cts of yellow diamonds set in the surround, shoulders and gallery, 10.9gms.

the fine colour emerald cut aquamarine weighing approximately 42.50cts is set in a diamond surround and suspended below a chain of openwork geometric links, set throughout with baguette, brilliant and old cut diamonds, the diamonds weighing approximately 14.00cts in total, 68cm long, 79.7gms.
