Washington Vineyard Auction

ALDERDALE, Wash., – Aldercreek and Windy Ridge Vineyards, one of the leading providers of grapes to wineries in the state of Washington, will sell 680+/- acres in 19 parcels at a real estate auction on Thursday, November 6th at 11 a.m. J.P. King Auction Company, the nation’s leading real estate auction marketing firm specializing in luxury properties, will manage the sale.

The established and award-winning Aldercreek and Windy Ridge Vineyards produce premium fruit that is grown in one of the state’s most highly, sought after areas. Aldercreek Vineyard currently consists of 220+/- acres while Windy Ridge consists of 460+/- acres.

“With more than 30 percent of Washington’s wine grape production grown within this area, Windy Ridge and Alder Creek Vineyards produce quality fruit that is distributed to boutique wineries nationwide,” said Craig King, president & CEO of J.P. The vineyards are currently planted to 265+/- acres with the ability to plant out to 445+/- net vine acres. The area is known for growing some of the highest quality red. Both vineyards are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Sangiovese and Sauvignon Blanc.

Aldercreek and Windy Ridge are located in Horse Heaven Hills AVA (American Viticultural Area), which is a designated wine growing region in the United States. The Horse Heaven Hills AVA is surrounded by the Columbia River and the Yakima Valley appellation. The area serves as a home to many established vineyards. Horse Heaven Hills’ topography and soil composition add to the uniqueness of this growing area.
