Kaminski Winter Estates Auction

Kaminski Auctions, one of Massachusetts’ premier antiques and fine art auction houses, announces its Winter Estates Auction. Highlighting a wide selection of antiques, fine art and collectibles is a large collection of clocks and watches from the estate of the late Wakefield, MA resident and NAWCC member Robert P. King. The auction takes place Saturday and Sunday January 31 and February 1 at Woodman’s Function Hall, 122 Main St., Essex, MA. Bidding commences at 10am each day and preview periods are scheduled Friday, January 30, 4-8pm and 8-10am on the days of the auction.

Highlighting the Robert P. King collection of clocks and watches is a 1965 Rolex “Orchid” diamond wristwatch (est. $4,000-$6,000). The piece boasts an interlocking link band and a 17-jewel manual wind movement. Thirty-seven round single cut diamonds surround the watch-face, with a .50 carat total weight.

An early 19th Century Federal grandfather clock (est. $2,500-$3,500) is also offered from the King collection. This mahogany clock stands 85.5 inches tall and is in good condition.

Additional featured consignments include a rare framed receipt, signed by United States pioneer Daniel Boone (est. $3,000-$5,000), two Russian silver busts of Czar Nicholas

and Alexandra (est. $7,000-$9,000) and a 20th Century Federal mahogany banquet table (est. $4,000-$6,000).
