Gramercy Auctions, a leading provider of auction solutions to REO sellers nationwide, announced today that industry veteran Gloria Lynn Gardner has joined the firm as Head Auctioneer and Head of Strategic Sales.
In this role, Ms. Gardner will oversee auction operations. She will provide organizational and strategic focus throughout the company while strengthening relationships with institutional sellers of REO portfolios and cooperating brokers and agents. Additionally, she will be responsible for providing the executive sponsorship of and direction to lead all auction process development initiatives.

Concurrent with Ms. Gardner’s joining Gramercy Auctions, Gramercy will merge HomeLand Auctions into its own operations. Ms. Gardner founded and was President and COO of HomeLand Auctions since 2005. Prior to that, Ms. Gardner was Vice President and Corporate Auctioneer of the Auction Department for Long & Foster Real Estate, the largest independently owned real estate broker in the world. Throughout her auction career Ms. Gardner has sold over 4,300 properties across the country. Ms. Gardner was the founder of the first auction school in the state of Virginia in 1992 and is the author of the only auction certification program for brokers nationwide. Additionally, she is a public speaker and advocate for the auction industry. Ms. Gardner has served as the Chair for the Auction Forum for the National Association of Realtors. She also has been asked to serve on a Presidential Advisory Group to offer expert advice to the President regarding broker auction activities in a turbulent market.
